Nagaraja Gargeshwari – President & Whole Time Director

Mr. Nagaraja Gargeshwari holds an MBA in International Management from ICFAI University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. With over 33 years of extensive experience in the automobile and computer electronics industries, Nagaraja has built a remarkable career.

He began his professional journey in 1990 as an engineer at Wipro Infotech Ltd. His career then took him to Singapore, where he worked as an associate engineer in the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering division at Maxtor Peripherals Pte Ltd. After returning to India in 1999, he joined Reva Electric Car Company as a senior engineer, eventually moving to Meritor India in 2000. During his tenure at Meritor, Mr. Nagaraja advanced through various managerial roles, including Engineering Manager, Site Manager, and Director of the Bangalore Technical Centre.  

In 2017, he took on a significant role as Senior Director of Global Product Validation and Materials Engineering at Meritor Inc. in the USA. In this capacity, he successfully led a diverse international team of approximately 220 engineers and technicians, overseeing global test laboratories, materials engineering functions, and the Bangalore Technical Centre.

Since April 2022, Mr. Nagaraja has been leading Automotive Axles Ltd, a public listed company with a turnover of more than 2200 Cr as the President and Executive Director. He has been pivotal in driving remarkable revenue growth and transforming the company culture. His vision led to the implementation of a five-day workweek and the introduction of a gender-neutral hiring process, boosting diversity to 14% in an industry setup at Mysuru. Today, AAL proudly showcases women operating critical equipment and machinery, playing managerial roles in multiple functions.

Mr. Nagaraja's career is distinguished by his global perspective and hands-on experience, having travelled extensively and collaborated across various countries to support product development initiatives. His contributions continue to have a positive impact on the industry.

As on 31st March 2025 Mr. Nagaraja holds directorship at Automotive Axles Limited.
